Kams

Kamille N. Poblete

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer | DAF

Kams is a graduate of BS Environmental Biology and MSc Biology, with a research background in long-term limnological monitoring of lake and stream ecosystems and the assessment of climate change impacts. She also has experience monitoring foreign-assisted, climate-related programs in the Philippines. As Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer, she supports the consortium by ensuring that activities are well documented and that progress toward targets is clearly recorded and easy to access.

For Kams, this work matters because it protects more than wildlife. It supports local communities, Indigenous groups, and rangers, reflecting the deeper value of biocultural conservation. She feels most comfortable in the field under cloudy skies, and approaches challenges with quiet resolve, guided by a simple reminder to keep moving forward, even when things feel uncertain.
