Christan D. Naluz

A Bachelor of Science in Biology graduate from Batangas State University, NatNat specializes in Marine Biology and contributes scientific knowledge to community-based conservation initiatives.

As Project Assistant, he supports project implementation by strengthening community capacity in Mindoro through training and practical, hands-on learning activities. He also assists in documentation, reporting, and coordination to help ensure activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Being a Mindoreño, he values the opportunity to work in protecting and conserving the island’s rich and unique biodiversity. The moments he appreciates most in the field are often simple yet meaningful — especially hearing the loud laughter of the community, a reminder that conservation is ultimately about people as much as nature. Guided by the mindset “One step at a time,” he approaches the work with patience, persistence, and optimism.
