Juanito C. Lumawig, Jr.

Jun is a graduate of BS Education with solid experience in facilitating Indigenous Peoples Education (IPEd) and immersing himself in the diverse cultures of Indigenous groups across the Philippines. As an Assistant Technical Specialist, his work focuses on IP community engagement, including facilitating meetings, serving as a translator, preparing and supporting community activities, attending meetings of local organizations, assisting in permaculture work, and contributing to research efforts.

For Jun, this role is meaningful because it allows him to serve Indigenous communities. He is often seen carrying a handwoven Indigenous bag, a quiet reflection of the culture he deeply respects. He approaches his work guided by a principle he lives by: gawin nang buong husay, seryoso, at tapat ang mga gampanin sa araw-araw.
