Nina

Juanita Mallillin Saet

Interim Bio-Cultural Landscape Coordinator

Nina supports initiatives related to Indigenous Peoples (IPs), working closely with other project outputs to ensure that community perspectives and priorities are reflected across activities. In her role, she focuses on community engagement and coordination, working with and for IPs to strengthen collaboration and meaningful participation.

For Nina, working with Indigenous communities is both a responsibility and a privilege. Known for being most likely to strike up conversations about anything under the sun, she values listening, dialogue, and shared understanding. She approaches her work with patience and trust in timing, guided by the belief that there is a reason and a season for everything.
